We inform you that, as of this September, Brazil’s postal service (Correios) has temporarily suspended shipments to the United States due to new tariff rules and customs policies imposed by the U.S. government on Brazil. There is still no forecast for when the service will resume. Taioba Discos is closely monitoring all updates from Correios and will notify all customers as soon as shipments are reinstated.
In August, shipments from small Brazilian businesses to the United States had already been impacted by the new U.S. tariff policy, with new customs duties applied directly to recipients.
Now, Correios has suspended shipments because the company needs sufficient time to complete the logistical adjustments required to adapt to this new scenario.
